This is my hobby, or maybe my obsession... I have been "collecting" GI Joe figures since about 1989- but I also played with them in a kid and even bought a few of the little ones when I was in high school- so I guess I have always been a fan. I also collect Dragon and 21st Century and probably have about a 1000 figures (maybe more?) in my collection. |

Old Joes Never Die... When I first started to collect I had one muscle body Man of Action and a few loose pieces of clothing- I started putting ads in the local paper and pretty soon people were selling me boxes of boots, caps, broken rifles and Joes missing limbs etc- I pieced them together as best as I could and this picture shows what could be considered the beginning of something that soon became an all-consuming passion for me! |

| "I've got a tough assignment for you..." As a kid I had the Atomic Man Secret Mountain Outpost but I never got the Adventure Team Headquarters. I've got it now! Nobody makes these vinyl playsets anymore- which is a shame cuz I loved them! |

GI Joe- a Man of Action I like to take Joe's with me when I go places. In this case I took a Joe along with an Adventure Gear canoe when I went camping- I got a lot of great shots that weekend and later people didn't even realize it was toys in the pictures! |
